The EASY project reached its grand finale in October 2024, with two inspiring events in Portugal, especially dedicated to adult educators!
On October 29th, at Universidade Lusófona, in collaboration with the Escola Superior de Psicologia, and on October 30th at Escola Secundária Poeta Joaquim Serra, together with Centro Qualifica, AidLearn enthusiastically presented the final products of EASY. Ultimately, the events welcomed 32 adult educators. Each event was a true immersion into the project results, with a detailed showcase of our achievements and a practical session where participants were able to try out some of the EASY Toolkit activities.
The involvement and interest of educators was incredible! Participants viewed the topic of stereotyping as highly relevant and important in adult education. They recognized the pervasive impact of age and gender stereotypes on adult learners and highlighted the necessity of addressing these issues to promote inclusive and equitable learning environments. The workshop helped raise awareness of how stereotypes can affect both individuals and society, reinforcing the importance of integrating such topics into adult education.
