The comic strips will be passed around to other teams, so each team will contribute to multiple comic strips. The goal is to explore and challenge stereotypes and social norms related to masculinity. The open-ended stories empower learners to make choices and take ownership of the story’s direction, ultimately shaping the narrative’s conclusion.
The participants will have to research and present male figures who challenge traditional masculinity norms. Participants should prepare a presentation that includes information about their chosen role models.
The learners are going to recreate the exercise presented in the movie “The Mask You Live In” . In the documentary, a teacher presents students with a thought-provoking exercise: “Describe the mask you live in.” This simple prompt is designed to encourage students to reflect on the societal expectations and pressures they feel compelled to conform to.
